I don't actually know what this building is, but it's my favorite one that I took pictures of. I just think that the bright orange color really fits it for some reason, and its architectural style is really interesting. The sky on this day was really blue and had no clouds, which made the building against the sky look really cool.
This is the first batch of photos that I took. This is the old Dexter train station, which was turned into a model train display building. I haven’t been there in years so I only have memories of it now. I think that the pyramid on top in the blueprint really adds that thing that says that it used to be a train station.
The Huron Dam was one of the last places I went. I used to come here all the time, and sometimes the water would be really high and it would be difficult to make it to the dam itself. The architecture on this building is really run down and looks very used. Looking down from the bridge that goes across the floodgates is definitely an interesting experience.
I’m pretty sure that this is some campus or other. The buildings in this area are very intricate and interesting to look at. The buildings have arches and pillars that kind of look castle-like. There’s not much to say about this area except that there were people walking around because… campus.
These photos are probably my least favorite, just because they’re kind of boring to look at. These were taken on a different day than the rest, which is why the sky looks so gray. The photos here were taken at a church over by Bird Hills Park. “Triangle” is a very interesting photo because it’s a weird architectural design.
